Brushtales Bush Cabin

The Cabin is now only bookable directly, for returning guests and friends. (Why? Because we love knowing who’s staying with us, and we look forward to long-lasting relationships with lovely people who get to know our land like we do!)

To make a reservation:

  1. Check the calendar below for availability; choose your preferred dates.

  2. Send Jess a text/WhatsApp (0415 132 620), or use the contact form at the bottom of the page, to request your dates.

  3. Jess will add your booking to the calendar and send you options to pay (bank transfer, card, or cash when you arrive).

Good to know:

  • We’re pretty flexible, and if you need to change your dates just let Jess know.

  • $95 per night, includes up to 4 people. Extra guests, per night: $15 adult, $5 kids under 16.

  • BYO blankets, pillows, bedsheets, towels… or if you’d like Jess to provide bedding and towels, let her know ($20 per bed).

  • 2-night minimum booking.

Brushtales Bush Cabin offers comfort and privacy in a beautiful bush setting, overlooking a creek and across to Bulldog Rock.

The cabin is fully self-contained with a kitchen, bathroom (bath/shower + flushing toilet), washing machine, and a large open living space with a wood fire. It’s completely off-grid, powered by solar and fed by fresh water.

In winter, enjoy the fire and bedroom pellet heater. In warmer months, relax on the deck and watch wallabies, goannas, kookaburras, and wild peacocks.

Sleeping

  • One large bedroom with a double bed + single bunk, and another single bed in the tile part of the room

  • Comfortably sleeps 4–5 people

  • Flat area nearby for extra tents (BYO gear; add extra guests to booking)
