We love to share the beautiful land where we live with our visitors, and have lots of tips for areas to explore.
Self-sustained camper? Camp wild by the Rocky River, or head up the back valley for a more remote adventure (4wd only).
Prefer some modern comforts? The Brushtales Cabin sleeps 4–5, with a full kitchen, bathroom, indoor fireplace and a large deck.

River Block & Valley camping
Self-contained wild camping on 700 acres.
$15 per person, per night. $5 for under 16s. Free for under 5s.
the River Block
Camping with easy access from the road, and to the Timbarra River. It has a gentle slope at the entry point, and some lovely flat sites for camping. A few gums give shade, and the area is fully fenced. You can explore the rocky slabs and ever-changing river to find the best dipping spots.
the Valley
Camp anywhere in the hidden valley, centred around Tom's Creek. You'll need a 4wd (or sturdy legs!) and a sense of adventure up here, but you'll have absolute peace, and your choice of where to go. You'll be neighbours with dingoes, kangaroos, and all kinds of other wildlife.
Brushtales Cabin
Brushtales offers comfort and privacy in a beautiful bush setting, overlooking Tom’s Creek and across to Bulldog Rock.
The cabin is fully self-contained with kitchen, bathroom with bath/shower, flushing toilet and washing machine, a large open living space with a wood fire, and a large covered deck. It’s completely off-grid, powered by solar and fed by fresh water.
In winter, enjoy the fire and bedroom pellet heater. In warmer months, relax on the deck and watch wallabies, goannas, kookaburras, cows and peacocks.
Comfortably sleeps 4–5 people in one large bedroom (double bed + single bunk + single bed)
Flat area nearby for extra tents (BYO gear; add extra guests to booking)
We’re pretty flexible if you need to change your booking
$95 per night, includes up to 4 people. Extra guests, per night: $15 adult, $5 kids under 16
